Smooth acoustic plasterwork, available in any colour
Acoplaster is seamless acoustic plasterwork which Acosorb applies in several layers. Available in four thicknesses: 3, 24, 32 and 43 mm. Applied either directly to the structural surface or to a metal stud framework with a single layer of plasterboard. The product is available in an extensive range of colours and finishes; from a textured surface to extremely smooth. Acosorb vouches for the highest level of acoustic performance, without compromising aesthetic properties.
Improved acoustics on any shaped surface whatsoever
Acoplaster is a complete system which Acosorb applies with the aid of wide mobile scaffolds. This enables a flush finish against an adjoining wall or a door or window frame. In the event of the lack of a natural finished edge, Acosorb fits an aluminium corner section. However, Acoplaster is also suitable for domed and vaulted roofs and other double-curved surfaces.
Meticulous combination of materials: safe and durable
This plasterwork comprises a sheet of mineral wool, which Acosorb attaches thoroughly to the surface using adhesive. We then apply a smooth finishing layer of acoustic plaster to the sheet beneath. This plaster layer comprises primarily recycled natural cellulose fibres. Acosorb also includes various additives, with a view to optimising both the life span and fire safety of the finished product.
Clear maintenance recommendations and a five-year warranty
Acosorb can also render the plasterwork damp proof by including special additives, which make for convenient cleaning using a damp cloth. Furthermore, we issue clear maintenance recommendations and provide support services in the form of Acocare. In the event of minor damage to the plasterwork, local repairs can be carried out conveniently. Acosorb also gives a five-year warranty on both the adhesion and acoustic properties of the material.
