Advice on annual maintenance
Acosorb recommends that the spray plaster and stucco applied be checked annually for dust deposits and cobwebs. If necessary, it can be cleaned using a vacuum cleaner fitted with an upholstery (soft brush) attachment.
Advice on maintenance every five to ten years
Acosorb can retreat the surface using Acopaint, while retaining its acoustic properties. Acopaint is a very thin, opaque coating, which is available in an extensive range of colours, several coats of which are generally applied with a spray gun.
Once the surface has been retreated with Acopaint, it can be cleaned using either a damp cloth or a special sprayed cleaning agent (only suitable for use on Acoplaster).
When necessary Acosorb is able to apply a new layer. The old layer will be replaced by a new one without any negative acoustical influence.
